1 working principle
The dewatering process of the belt press filter can be divided into four important stages: pretreatment, gravity dewatering, pre-press dewatering in the wedge zone and press dehydration.
1.1 pre-processing stage:
The flocculated material is gradually added to the filter belt, so that the free water outside the floc is separated from the floc under the action of gravity, gradually reducing the moisture of the sludge floc and the fluidity is poor. Therefore, the dewatering efficiency of the gravity dewatering section depends on the nature of the filter medium (filter belt), the nature of the sludge, and the degree of flocculation of the sludge. The gravity dewatering section removes a large part of the water in the sludge.
1.2 Wedge pre-pressure dehydration stage:
After the gravity dewatering of the sludge, the fluidity becomes significantly worse, but it is still difficult to meet the sludge fluidity requirements of the squeeze dewatering section. Therefore, a wedge-shaped pre-pressure dewatering is added between the squeeze dewatering section and the gravity dewatering section In the section, the sludge is dehydrated by slight extrusion in this section to remove the free water on the surface, and the fluidity is almost completely lost. This ensures that the sludge will not be squeezed out in the dewatering section under normal conditions. The conditions for press dehydration are created.
