The flat-plate type upper manual unloading centrifuge is divided into two types: filtration type (PS) and sedimentation type (PSC) according to the separation principle. The feeding and discharging are gap type.
Settlement type (no hole in the drum wall)
The centrifuge starts to charge before it starts, and can also be loaded at medium or high speed. The centrifuge drum rotates at high speed. Under the action of centrifugal force field, the dense particles or liquid deposit on the drum wall. Side (outer layer), the less dense particles or liquid (usually mostly liquid) is on the side of the drum (the inner layer), due to the continuous feeding, the smaller density of the inner layer is transferred.
The drum draining port overflows outward, and is discharged from the liquid discharge pipe through the channel between the outer casing and the liquid collecting tank, or siphoned out to the outside of the machine by a liquid immersion device.
When the sediment (liquid phase or solid phase) in the drum reaches the specified requirements, the charging is stopped, the power is turned off, the brake is applied, and the filter cake (or sediment) is discharged from the drum to complete a working cycle.
